Wow. Great breakfast. We had the scrambled eggs with chopped up ham and some cheese with the fresh corn tortillas. The coffee was brewed with cinnamon. Excellent.

Took a daytrip to Cozumel from Playa del Carmen with the ferry. Ten minutes walk from the ferry port. Wanted to find something authentic and not touristy- this was a score!! Fajitas were incredible- tons of cheese and protein. If you like tortilla soup, you must order the Aztec soup. The guacamole is freshly made and chunky! Nice and clean bathrooms as well, which is a huge plus on a day trip!

If here on a cruise I would highly recommend to stop here for lunch. Something different than ship food and really good. Margarita was excellent and chicken/beef fajitas are yummy. I am a cheese fan so got a side of shredded cheese and it was a must

Totally legit Mexican food joint with a great crew working. I can not recommend this place more. It is a bit loud and the bathroom was not that clean, but other than that it was great

Cute spot located downtown. I had the seafood soup with shrimp. The portion was large and the soup was very good. It was served with lime wedges on the side and I did use them as I thought the soup needed a little acid. My husband had the garlic fish and said it was very good but needed a bit more salt. They bring you out chips with what I believe is a creamy chipotle sauce and the sauce is amazing. We went at lunch on a weekday and the service was very quick. Prices are what you'd expect for a spot downtown. There's no AC but that wasn't an issue when we dined there.

I've been coming back to La Choza every time I visit Cozumel and the food is always great. The service is fantastic and all of the waiters are so kind. The margaritas are STRONG. I've had the flank steak several times, the beef fajitas, shrimp fajitas, and never skip the Aztec soup. Their flan is also yummy even though I took it to go after my dinner. The food coma hits after a filling dinner here. It's such a great value and a delicious dinner. I miss Cozumel and La Choza! The restaurant feels very cozy inside and has a lot of fans around to keep you cool. It's a really great place for a lunch or dinner.
